In the last few days I am thinking. I am thinking, because of a mistake I made in my job – I restored a database backup over the wrong database. Believe me, I know what this means and I realize what this can cause to a company’s business(although in my case it didn’t)

You see, the problem is, probably, I have always been striving to get things done. To get them done in the best possible way. I am not that kind of person who just talks. I execute! I do things! I spend numerous hours thinking, working and building the next version of me. Seriously? The amount of time I work is SICK and that’s because who I am and because I LOVE what I do!

Still, I am just a human being and I do mistakes… I just do… It’s the human factor in me that is not letting me be perfect. But do you know what? I don’t want to be! I don’t want to be even if I had the chance, because every single mistake is at the same time a huge chance! It’s a win, said in other words! Different type of win, but a win! And what I, you, all of us get from a win like this, is something we cannot get in a different way. And that’s huge!

I learned my lesson.
Now, I am moving forward.
