It is my 3rd month as a SQL Server DBA at HP and boy what a months just! I am learning a whole bunch of new things, I am surrounded by people who talk 24×7 for SQL Server and finally I can do all the things I know in the real world and see what is the difference between practicing at home and doing the same things, but for a Fortune 500 company.

Continue reading
Преди известно време презентирах в НБУ на тема “How to deliver technical presentations: The right way” и фийдбекът, който получих беше наистина страхотен! Continue reading

Microsoft Days 2011 Day 2
Day 1 was great! I mean absolutely great, but it was tiring as well. My tiredness got even bigger, because of the traffic jam we were stuck in for more than 40 minutes in our way back home. Having told this, imagine how mad the girl I called for a coffee was at me, when I kept her waiting for, as she said, almost 30 minutes!(Miss Grigorova, if you’re reading this and I’m sure you are, you know how sorry I am! Will you watch The Smurfs with me? Please…). Anyway, after a 6-hour sleep, day 2 didn’t started that good. After the first session I was feeling as my brain was still not functioning the right way. Hopefully, I got better, when a colleague of mine(who had a very lucky day that day – Ivellin Mollov(twitter|blog) told me that he is in the same situation. It’s always great to hear that “you are not alone”, isn’t it? So… Continue reading
Microsoft Days 2011 Day 1
Microsoft Days is the year’s biggest conference for Microsoft technologies in Bulgaria. 2011 was my first time attending it and in the next two posts, starting from this one, I will share my thoughts of what an experience it was for me, what sessions I attended and I don’t know what else. We’ll see! Unfortunately, I didn’t have a mobile phone or camera to make some photos and that way to reinforce my posts, but that is what it is. I hope you will forgive me… ![]()

Seminar: Microsoft Visionary Insight

Today was a rainy day and you cannot say it was not! As usual I didn’t have an umbrella with me, so I “accidentally” got very wet until I got to the Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics a.k.a FMI, where was about to be held the next seminar from the series of seminars, which are organized by the IT Leaders Academy. So, in this post, you will be reading about what we talked about and what was the whole seminar all about.
