I am one of the people who are trying the latest and greatest in the software world way before it is in RTM phase. For good or for bad I do it! This is something that I learned, while I was part of Telerik. This is the case with Office 2013 and now it is the time to criticise Outlook 2013. Heavily! Continue reading
Recently, I have the situation where I have had to install my Outlook client from the ground up. After successfully configured it, I thought I am back to business. However, it’s was nooooot exactly that way. In this blog post I will show you why and I really believe that this can come handy to you some day, because it is true that Microsoft Exchange is the best mail server, but Outlook is not that user friendly. Or at least – not always! Continue reading
It’s was all about the cloud this year. It will be all about the cloud in the upcoming years. End.
Microsoft Days is the most anticipated yearly Microsoft conference in Bulgaria and this year we have had the chance to experience it again. It was second time for me and it was huge in many ways during these 2 days.
Let’s start with the fact that this year’s focus was all about the cloud… as I already mentioned. Public, private, hybrid – doesn’t really matter. Every single session I attended was about the cloud or at least part of it and so, if you or your company is in the “Microsoft space” and you are not thinking and learning about it – you are missing something.
Continue reading
Starting with some not that technical sessions I strongly recommend you see those two:
1. Certification 101 -> http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/TechEd/NorthAmerica/2011/CER101
2. Flexible Workspace -> http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/TechEd/NorthAmerica/2011/FDN06
Day 1 was great! I mean absolutely great, but it was tiring as well. My tiredness got even bigger, because of the traffic jam we were stuck in for more than 40 minutes in our way back home. Having told this, imagine how mad the girl I called for a coffee was at me, when I kept her waiting for, as she said, almost 30 minutes!(Miss Grigorova, if you’re reading this and I’m sure you are, you know how sorry I am! Will you watch The Smurfs with me? Please…). Anyway, after a 6-hour sleep, day 2 didn’t started that good. After the first session I was feeling as my brain was still not functioning the right way. Hopefully, I got better, when a colleague of mine(who had a very lucky day that day – Ivellin Mollov(twitter|blog) told me that he is in the same situation. It’s always great to hear that “you are not alone”, isn’t it? So… Continue reading
Microsoft Days is the year’s biggest conference for Microsoft technologies in Bulgaria. 2011 was my first time attending it and in the next two posts, starting from this one, I will share my thoughts of what an experience it was for me, what sessions I attended and I don’t know what else. We’ll see! Unfortunately, I didn’t have a mobile phone or camera to make some photos and that way to reinforce my posts, but that is what it is. I hope you will forgive me…
Today was a rainy day and you cannot say it was not! As usual I didn’t have an umbrella with me, so I “accidentally” got very wet until I got to the Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics a.k.a FMI, where was about to be held the next seminar from the series of seminars, which are organized by the IT Leaders Academy. So, in this post, you will be reading about what we talked about and what was the whole seminar all about.
